کج سانوں مرن دا شوق وی سی

 کج انج وی رواں اوکھیاں سن
کج گل وچ غماں دا طوق وی سی
کج شہر دے لوگ وی ظالم سن 
کج سانوں مرن دا شوق وی سی

Kuch unj wi rawaan okhiyaan san
kuch gal wich gham da toq wi si 
kuch sher dey log wi daalim san
kuch saanu maran da shok wi si

Rough Translation:

Partly the path was dangerous
Partly we were weighed down by sorrow

To some extent the people of the city were cruel
but then again, we had a death wish too

انتقاماً مسکرانا چاہیے

آدمی اندر سے ٹوٹ جایے بھی
کم سے کم لہجہ توانا چاہیے
غم غلط کرنا کوئی مشکل نہیں
انتقاماً مسکرانا چاہیے 
 

Aadmi under se toot jae bhi
Kam se kum Lehja tavana chahyee
Gum galat karna koi mushkil nahi
intaqaman muskurana chahyee

Rough Translation:
Even if one is broken from inside,
at least he should sound strong

It is not hard to get rid of your worries
You should smile as a revenge against them !
